Zeneba & Matt
Violinist Zeneba Bowers and cellist Matt Walker are both GRAMMY-nominated, professional classical musicians from the USA, who quit their orchestra jobs and sold nearly all their belongings to enjoy a simpler life in Italy. Since moving to the castle town of Soriano nel Cimino in November 2019, they have been featured as soloists in the famous Narnia Festival, and they were the subjects of an article in Italy’s Il Messaggero and on the national US television program "CBS Sunday Morning".
The couple offers their acclaimed talent and artistry by crafting unique and personal concert experiences to create the perfect ambience for any intimate occasion.
With a vast assortment of music at their fingertips, they work with clients to present beautiful classical music in private house concerts or for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and other gatherings in churches, villa estates, and other venues throughout Italy. They also offer arrangements of classic “pop” songs for couples to customize and personalize their ceremonies. (See “Customize Your Event” below)
Event Offerings
Private Concerts
Matt & Zeneba will perform an engaging and unique "sit-down” audience concert, typically 30-60 minutes including a question & answer segment, for your guests. Think pre-dinner, drinks in hand, listening to and learning about music curated for your event, ranging from Italian Baroque to Beethoven to modern American music, and even some blues thrown in. Post-concert, we mingle with guests and answer any questions they have about the music or the music business.
Event Background Music
Add our elegant sounds to your reception, pre/post-ceremony gathering, aperitivo or “happy hour”, or other small gathering.
There is a 2 hour maximum.
Weddings
Orsini Virtuosi enjoys performing at intimate weddings to be a part of starting other couples off on their lives together. We aim to make the ceremony as personable and memorable as possible - we’ve been married for nearly 20 years, so we know how important this special day is.
Prelude music, up to 30 minutes prior to the ceremony
Ceremony music - processional of families and wedding party, interlude music during ceremony (if desired), and recessional music
Customize Your Event
Imagine yourself walking down the aisle to your own personal love song, and having a signed copy of the music you can frame in your home! We will write and perform an original arrangement of your favorite pop or classic song - and you’ll get to keep the original sheet music!
